This month, March, we continue listening to music, related to animals. This time, we are listening "Peter and the Wolf" op. 67, by Sergei Prokofiev (1891 - 1953)

K-Gr. 4 (you can listen only one movement of your choice): - Draw a picture about this piece of music - Can you name three animals and the instruments that represent the animals? - How is it different from the sound of piano? - How do you feel? Happy? Sad? exciting? - Which part is your favourite part of the music? Gr. 5 & up (please listen all three movements): - Research about the composer and list 5 things about the composer. - How many characters are in the story? What are the instruments that represent the characters? - How does the music make you feel? - Do you like the music or not? Why? - Dynamics: Is it loud or soft or medium? - What is the tempo in this music? - What else did you hear? - Can you make up a story that fits to the music?
