Date: Sunday May. 28th @ 2:30. - In order to increase the participants of the recital and stay away from the chance to get sick due to being in a crowd, I have made a decision to stay with a Virtual recital for the Year End recital. From next year, I will look into organizing in-person recitals only if all students/parents are in favour to participate in the event. - The recording will be placed During the lesson on Wed. May. 10th, Thur. May. 11th, and Sat. May 13th. Feel free to dress up for the recording session!!! - We will use Google meet as a presentation platform. The link will be posted on the website and sent out in the beginning of May. 3. Listening Assignment and Journal - The listening assignment has been updated every two weeks on the website. https://pianowithrachel.weebly.com/student-lounge - You can also find the page under Lesson --> Student lounge on the website. - Although it is not mandatory, this process allows students to experience different styles of music and develop their ears. 4. Spring Break (March. 27th - March. 31st). - There is no lesson during Spring break (next week). The lesson will resume on Wednesday, Apr. 5th, 2023. 5. Reminder: Please make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before entering the studio. - I noticed that some students are not paying attention to washing their hands with soap. Regardless COVID situation, the cold, flu and any types of germs are going around over the year. So, a habit of washing hands will help to stay healthy for yourself and for other students as well.
